"Good" didn't last. "Bad" couldn't last only because if it did, you'd be dead, so it wasn't a reciprocal state.

Oh that is SO JACK to think that.

This required simple answers to simple questions. Will this blow up? How can we make this blow up? What do we do after this blows up?

That made me sporfle at the sheer glee of this being Jack's existential equation.

A field team (Stargate team, explorer unit, recon force, whatever you wanted to call it) should all be on the same page. Half his team wasn't even in the same library.

Oh that is AWESOME. I love how I can hear Jack's voice in this stream-of-consciousness.

And Teal'c! The heroism of his mother (that woman deserves a NAME, thank you PTB), his relief that at least he could understand O'Neill if no one else - And so, knowing nothing of him, Teal'c knew O'Neill very well - I loved this.

And this Planet Technobabble! :D

I am amazed, knowing your regular (gen) writing preferences, that you can set aside your usual Jack-Daniel thing to focus on Jack and Teal'c so well. None of this precludes any other friendship; you're just giving it central focus here. Lovely!

Thanks for contributing. :)
