This is terrific -- unsettling and wide-ranging in its implications for Shifu and for Sha're. I loved her perspective on whether she could be a mother to Shifu, and on the Tok'ra, who are sometimes only a half-turn from the Goa'uld at best. And Janet, representing the very best sort of practicality: a strong, kind pragmatism.
I wish that the show had not dropped the ball so much when it came to Sha're. Yes, she got one terrific story in Forever and A Day, but I felt as though that only came around because they couldn't be arsed to carry on with Sha're's story. It's a shame because she's one of the most interesting characters in the film; far better than movie!Jack with his tedious machismo and off-the-shelf trauma. (Show!Jack is another kettle of fish)
